Kevin G. Connell is a renowned professional background screening expert, he
is recognized for his expertise on negligent hiring, embezzlement, employee
theft, and resume fraud in the workplace. Connell has spoken at numerous
business, security & human resources conferences, including twice providing
testimony before the Florida Supreme Court. He is widely quoted, has had

On the adjunct faculty of the University of South Florida, Kevin teaches the
course "Effective Employee Screening". His "Hiring Right From the Start"
seminar educates human resource professionals on pre-employment screening
techniques and makes them knowledgeable about how companies may legally
obtain the information they need to make informed hiring decisions. Mr.

Mr. Connell is Founder and CEO of Accu-Screen, Inc., and is responsible for
the overall growth, development, and management of the organization. The
company was founded on his belief that corporations and governmental
organizations are in dire need of accurate employment screening and cost
containment programs, especially in light of the ever escalating costs of
negligent hiring lawsuits, employee theft and workers compensation fraud.

drug testing services.
Mr. Connell is a former Director of the National Association of Professional
Background Screeners (NAPBS); he served on the board from 2003-2005. NAPBS
exists to promote ethical business practices, promote compliance with the
Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and foster awareness of issues related to
consumer protection and privacy rights within the background screening
industry. The association provides relevant programs and training aimed at
empowering members to better serve clients and to maintain standards of
excellence in the background screening industry.
Kevin received his Bachelors Degree in Economics Management from Ohio
Wesleyan University, graduating Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa. He was a
First-Team selection to GTEs Academic All-American Football Team. After
graduation, the Procter and Gamble Company employed Mr. Connell as a
Regional Manager, where he worked in both the Food Service and Commercial
Products Division. At P&G, he won the prestigious Five-Star Award three
consecutive years. This National Award recognizes Procter and Gambles Top
Sales Managers throughout North America.
