Government Shutdown Looms; DC Court Disruptions Likely

The continuing budget standoff in the government is about to come to a head unless a compromise can be reached before midnight on Friday, April 8th. Any government shutdown will likely cause disruptions in DC courts. In the event of a government shutdown, County House Research will continue daily trips to DC-area courthouses to check on court opening status. We will keep you apprised of developments as information becomes available and we apologize for any inconvenience.
